Consulting Services is an internal consulting organization within Västra Götalandsregionen that offers services to all regional operations in various areas of expertise; security, environment, project and change management, business development, communication, and administration.
With great commitment and high collective competence, our 95 employees contribute to the region's development by relieving, supporting, and developing core operations.
About the Job
You will be part of a team of security protection officers with the regional mission to conduct security assessments for all administrations and companies within Västra Götalandsregionen. Together with your colleagues, you will administer and conduct security assessment interviews and classify security levels. You also play an important role in contributing to the development of the personnel security process in Västra Götalandsregionen.
The team is part of the Security and Environment unit, which consists of an engaged team with broad competence from various professions and backgrounds. We take great responsibility and see the value in supporting each other. Learning and competence development are highly prioritized to develop us as individuals and in our mission.
About You
We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, vocational education, or university degree, or equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent. We expect you to have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. You have experience leading professional conversations that may contain sensitive information. We also believe you have good administrative skills. The tasks require contacts with various parties, which means you need to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
As a person, you are secure and well-organized, acting in a way that builds trust. You have the ability to lead conversations and analyze their content. You contribute to good collaboration both within the team and with our administrations and companies.
Previous experience working with personnel security and security assessments is an advantage but not a requirement. Training in interview techniques related to personnel security is offered by Västra Götalandsregionen.
We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness and place great importance on personal suitability.
Recruitment Process

The position will be classified in a security level, which means that a security assessment and background check will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act before employment. Property, support, and service is Västra Götalandsregionen's own service organization and property manager that ensures everything works as it should. We take care of property operations, ensure all employees are paid, that premises are cleaned, and that assignments within the region are staffed with specialist competence.
